Abel 48 Golden Ratio Mini Wooden Blocks Set

The Abel 48 Golden Ratio mini block set includes 48 curved wooden blocks in 4 different sizes, the largest being the Abel Block Mini, with magical proportions that form a spiral and reflect the beauty found in nature.

A set of 48 Abel Golden Ratio creative wooden blocks. This is a lovely addition to your Abel blocks collection and can be enjoyed on its own as a wonderful introduction to the Golden Ratio found in nature. Made from solid FSC European Beech wood, these curved wooden blocks have a beautiful grain and feel wonderfully tactile in the hand. A great way to inspire creative play and explore the wonders of physics. The Golden Ratio in mathematics is also known as the Divine Proportions, or the Greek letter phi and is associated with the Fibonacci sequence found in nature – those wonderful spirals, fractals and geometry seen in the spiral shapes of shells, pinecones and sunflowers, are all based on this magical ratio. The Abel Golden Ratio set is a great way to introduce these STEM concepts by learning through play.

Children and adults will be drawn to these wooden blocks, creating amazing circular structures, bridges and mandala shapes. Their smaller size is ideal for taking outside and exploring them in nature. Logical thinking and practical physics can all be discovered through experimental play. A wonderful open-ended resource, these blocks can be incorporated into other play making ramps for cars, and enclosures for farm animals as well as combined with other wooden blocks for creative play. Abel blocks will be a stunning addition to a natural playroom and will be loved by generations of children in open-ended play.
