This is no ordinary city. Many have been there more than once, but at the same time, no one has ever been there. You know which state it’s in, but you won’t find it on a world map. It’s not a real city… but many board game enthusiasts know it better than many real cities. Welcome to Arkham, Massachusetts.

In Arkham Travel Guide, you become a guide and create tourist routes through Arkham’s grim and narrow streets, full of curio shops, mysterious portals, and horrific places. During the game, players roll dice and collaboratively decide which ones determine where to attract tourists and plan their routes.

The goal is to create a route with as many tourists and different types of landmarks as possible, as these award points. Before the game ends, you will face a Great Old One. Depending on how well you have avoided horrific places and used the special abilities of otherworldly beings, you will either gain rewards or lose tourists.

At the end of the game, you score points for tourists and attractions in the city blocks along your route. You also score points for personal goals and rewards from the Great Old One. The player with the most points wins!
