Zombies invade 90s Scania! Hjrnor is an all-Swedish miniature wargame system set in the town of Mllinge on Scania’s east coast, in late summer 1995, after the outbreak of an epidemic. The summer heat holds Scania in a firm grip and zombies wander the streets. Nothing is as it once was…

Hjrnor can best be described as a mix of simulator, role-playing game, and cooperative board game. The simulator’s pursuit of realism is mixed with role-playing elements and cooperation in the cooperative board game, where “the typically Swedish” meets the idiosyncratic cheerfulness of the 90s. Beneath the surface lurks the threat of total societal collapse.
