If youve ever fought with a brush that wont hold a point halfway through a model, upgrading to a proper sable detail brush makes a huge difference. This brush is built for painters who want cleaner highlights, sharper edge work, and more control over fine details without constantly correcting mistakes.

What It Does

The XS Artificer Layer is a precision hobby brush designed for detailed layering, edge highlights, facial details, fine trim work, and other controlled paint application where accuracy matters.

Why Its Useful

A good brush doesnt just make painting easier it helps your paint behave better. The sable bristles hold paint smoothly, keep a sharp tip longer during use, and allow for thinner, more controlled lines compared to standard synthetic brushes.

This size is especially useful for:

• Edge highlights on armor panels
• Eyes, lenses, and facial details
• Fine cloth folds and small textures
• Controlled layering on character models
• Tight spots regular layer brushes struggle to reach

Key Features

• Natural sable bristles for excellent paint retention and control
• Very fine tip for detailed work and clean line placement
• Smooth paint flow helps reduce streaky highlights
• Great for thin paints and glazing techniques
• Comfortable for longer painting sessions
• Protective storage tube helps prevent damage to the bristles between uses

If youre putting serious time into character models or display-quality details, a brush like this is one of the most noticeable hobby upgrades you can make.
