Grimms Large 12-Piece Natural Rainbow

The iconic Grimms rainbow in beautifully finished natural wood for building, balancing, stacking, and open-ended play.

The Grimms Large 12-Piece Natural Rainbow is one of the purest expressions of the classic Grimms rainbow. Without added colour, the beauty of the wood takes centre stage, making this a strikingly simple open-ended toy that feels calm, tactile, and full of possibility. Taken apart and offered as loose pieces, the arches invite children to stack, sort, balance, build, and create in their own way.

This large natural rainbow is a true all-rounder in the playroom. Children use it for building fantasy landscapes, creating role play worlds, inventing marble runs and ball tracks, arranging patterns, and exploring shape and space through hands-on play. Younger children enjoy the rhythm of nesting, stacking, and carrying the arches, while older children bring them into more ambitious building projects and open-ended storytelling. The simple form leaves plenty of room for imagination, which is exactly why this iconic design keeps its appeal year after year.

Made from sustainable European alder wood and finished with plant-based oil, this rainbow has the tactile, velvety feel that makes Grimms toys so distinctive. The natural finish highlights the rich grain and individual character of the wood, giving each set warmth, depth, and its own unique markings. Knots, patterns, colour variation, and grain detail are all part of the natural beauty of the material, not faults.

Babipur has stocked Grimms for many years, and their rainbows remain some of the most loved toys in our range.
