Lambby Schleich. Hand painted animal figurine by Scheich from theFarm World collection.

Model 13883.

5.30cm x 2.3cm x 4.70cm.

Sheep that are not older than one year are referred to as lambs. A few days after birth, their wool begins to grow. They quickly learn to find their way amongst the herd and are smarter than assumed to be. Sheep can distinguish not only the faces of their own species, but also those of humans.

Fun fact: Lambs are suckled for three months. After that, they eat grass and herbs.

Schleich products are made of various plastics and dyes, which are carefully selected to meet the respective requirements. Most typically plastics used are polyvinyl chloride (PVC), thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), in addition to other plastics typical for toys. Even the material suppliers are subject to strict controls by our quality officers. The dyes used are optimally adapted to the different types of plastic and demonstrate top-rate mechanical and chemical resistance. They ensure the high durability of Schleich products and make all Schleich pieces saliva and sweat proof as well as abrasion-resistant, and thus ensure that they are completely safe for playing with. Only once a product meets fully all international laws, standards and guidelines for toys is it released for production. All Schleich articles and materials comply with the national and international toy requirements applicable worldwide, as well as the new European Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC and DIN EN 71.

We love Schleich’s realistic animal figures, a quality toy that stimulates the child’s imagination as well as teaching them about animals and wildlife.
