PLOTTER – Leather Binder Liscio Limited BOX – Bible Size

To celebrate the memorial year of PLOTTER Tokyos flagship store opening, the Liscio series debuts in a special Red Brown color distinct from the standard lineup. Crafted from Liscio leather by renowned Italian tannery Badalassi Carlo using the traditional Vachetta method, the binder ages beautifully, developing a rich luster and supple feel with use. Compact yet versatile, the Bible size offers the perfect balance of portability and functionalityideal for daily planning and note-taking.

The Bible Size Limited BOX includes a Leather Binder, Pen Holder Lifter, and Ring Supporter in matching leather, engraved with the phrase The future starts today, not tomorrow, expressing PLOTTERs philosophy. Presented in a gray box made exclusively for this release, it blends Italian craftsmanship with timeless design, making it both a practical tool and a collectors keepsake.

Please note: Liscio leather shows the leather’s natural variation in texture more visibly than other types of leather by PLOTTER. Ripples, stretch marks, scratches, wrinkles, darker spots, lighter spots, and dents are all natural phenomenon caused by the life of the animal that the leather came from. Each binder’s individual qualities are highly praised and cherished in Japan, and are seen not as defects, but as features to be appreciated.

“I came to believe that when working with a material, one should be faithful to its roots, its history, and its concept, and create products that truly bring out its best. When it comes to leather, I believe that deliberately revealing the evidence of the animal’s life-rather than hiding it-is a sign of respect for nature’s bounty. I select leather with the hope that many people will come to understand and appreciate this very thing. Consequently, our leather possesses truly distinctive characteristics: scars, color variations, insect bite marks, wrinkles, and more.”
